LET THE WORD DWELL IN YOUR HOME

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
Colossians 3:16
Main Text: John 1:1-14

Jesus is coming soon. It's an exciting time, but it's also a dangerous time for an individual and homes without Christ. The marriage foundation without the WORD of God, and people who  don't do what the Spirit says, who don't dwell richly in the Lord, are going to go from disaster to disaster. But those who are Word compliant will defeat the disasters and come back with testimonies, in Jesus' Name!

Your first step in having a winning family and life is drawing closer to God, realize the need to know God first, and His Word. Time spent meditating in the New Testament is time spent with Jesus. Most people and marriages don't realize that. So, instead of getting to know the Lord through His Word, they try to know Him through their feelings, social media and  that just won't work.

Letting the Word dominate your thinking is to allow the Holy Spirit to have control over your mind and home. As you do that, your feelings will eventually fall in line. Remember this: John 1 tells us that Jesus is the Word. That means, when you spend time in it, you're spending time with Jesus. When His Word is dwelling in your marriage and you richly, then Jesus is dwelling in you richly too! Hold on to Jesus. Hold on to the Word and your home, your marriage, and yourlife will make it through these dangerous times!

Confession

Dear Lord, thank you for the victorious and prosperous life I have in Christ. I live in health and in glory every day, because of your grace and righteousness in me. You’ve blessed me in all things, and with all things; therefore, I’m forever grateful! My home and life is guided by your wisdom to walk in, and fulfil your perfect will for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
