JESUS CHRIST THAT GLORIFIES NOT A WORK
Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified
Romans 8:30
Main Text: Romans 8:25-30
Jesus Christ is express image of God, the effulgence of His glory (Hebrews 1:3). And that’s exactly what He’s made us; we’ve been glorified in Him. He said in John 17:22, “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one.”
The Bible talks about the glory that should follow His sufferings (1 Peter 1:11); we’re that glory; the joy He saw that made Him endure the Cross and despise the shame (Hebrews 12:2).
Thus, for you, there’s no more shame, because Jesus already bore your shame. He paid the price for you to live a glorious life.
Just as death couldn’t hold Him, nothing today can hinder your glorious life in Him. Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9).
Confession:
My life is the manifestation and testimony of God’s grace and glory; His wisdom and righteousness are revealed and evident in me. I’m His light in a dark world, and I impact my world with the righteousness of God in my spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
