YOUR HELPER

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”
John 16:13
Main Text: Main Text: John 14:26

We often find ourselves in difficult situations, faced with challenges sometimes nearly impossible to cope with. These challenges could be physical, emotional, spiritual, mentally and the list goes on. Helpless you often wonder if it’s all worth it! Life can be just unfair! Regardless of what life throws at you, always remember that you have an helper in the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Helper! Ever present help in times of trouble, our Comforter in times of sorrow, our Chief Advocate, Our primary Intercessor! Much more – Our Chief Life Strategist, Counselor General, Chief Cheerleader, Strengthener of feeble knees and weak hands. The Holy Spirit is everything and all a believer needs to excel in life as a Child of God! The Holy Spirit demonstrates God’s love for us through the working out of our daily needs. Filling us with power and joy! The Holy Spirit empowers believers for the work of the ministry. When Jesus commissioned His disciples to, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone” (Mark 16:15), He did not send them empty-handed. By the indwelling Holy Spirit they went forth in power: “These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages...They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed” (verses 16-18). God didn’t leave you empty handed, He’s sent his advocate to help you! If you have not received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit there is no need to wait. We encourage you today to ask the Father for this wonderful gift He is eager for you to receive (Luke 11:11-13). Just ask and by faith expect to receive. Prayer: Heavenly Father, Your Word says You will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask, so I am asking now. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Romans 8:26-27 “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.” Read through the Bible in 1 year: 2 Chronicles 17:1-18:34 Romans 9:25-10:13 Psalm 20:1-9 Proverbs 20:2-3 Read through the Bible in 2 years: 2 Kgs 5-6 & Ps 21
