THE POWER OF SEPARATION

“Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate, And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you.”
2 Corinthians 6:17
Main Text: Main text: Luke 6:22

The Word Christians simply means the called-out ones, when we accepted Christ, we were called out from one path into another path. Basically, the walk with Jesus is a walk of separation. We aren’t supposed to do things like the world does. Our system is different, our goal shouldn’t be to be the richest but to please God and when we do this, every other thing will follow suit (Matthew 6:33). Many of us are called but we refuse to be separated.

As believers in this dispensation, we are firstly separated from the old life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” The day you accepted Jesus, you activated a new cell in you – the DNA of the Most High God that makes you a new man, a new specie of being. You have been separated into a higher life! Don’t be ashamed of this life.

As we grow in the Word, we become separated unto Christ, at this juncture, Jesus and only Him becomes Lord over your life! At this point, our choices become separated from the world’s way of doing things. Jesus has called you into a higher life, don’t let sinners bully you to feeling inferior, rather pity them and show them the love of Christ so they can see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ.

Prayer:

I thank you Father for calling me into a higher life, I desire to grow in your Word therefore, I grow daily and choose the Word. Amen.
