TAKE HEED TO THE WORD!
“He who heeds the Word finds prosperity. Whoever trusts in Yahweh is blessed.”
Prov 16:20 (WEB)
Main Text: Main text: James 1:22-25
It’s important for believers to understand the importance of the Word in their lives, it should be our guideline as to how we live our lives per time. It’s important we pay attention to the Word daily because that’s primarily how God will speak to us to address certain areas of our lives. John 16:13 “When the Holy Spirit, who is truth, comes, he shall guide you into all truth, for he will not be presenting his own ideas, but will be passing on to you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.”
Josh 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” The Bible is the greatest book in the world concerning money management that leads to staggering prosperity. God’s children have been historically prosperous. Consider Abraham. The book of Genesis tells us that he was rich in cattle, silver and gold. Solomon was the richest man in the world. By today’s standards he would have been a trillionaire. His horse stables were made of gold. That is prosperity!
Jesus gave us 38 parables; 16 deal with how to manage your possessions. There are 500 verses in the New Testament dealing with prayer, and less than 500 discussing faith. There are more than 2,000 verses telling us how to manage our possessions in order to produce prosperity in our lives. Pay attention to the Word for therein lies your glory!
Confession
I choose to pay attention to the Word! I walk in the fullness of life, I enjoy the blessings of the Lord in the land of the living – I live in plenty, I have no lack, I have a glorious future!
