LIVING FOR GOD’S PURPOSE
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance
Luke 15:7
Main Text: Matthew 6:25, 32, 33
Living for Jesus Christ and making yourself relevant in building and transforming lives is what counts the most before GOD. True fulfillment and satisfaction in life is only derived from living for God’s purpose. Beloved, don’t get distracted by your personal dreams; that’s wrong. Take your eyes off yourself; pursue and fulfill God’s purpose. Live your life as a steward of the Christ; which is the real deal for you as a believer.
Many are concerned about the mundane, perishable things of life; but you must focus on eternity. Let it be known to you that all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21).
In Matthew 6:25, 32, 33 He said, “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
As you saw in the preceding verses, God doesn’t want anything, including “your needs” (for you really don’t have any needs), to distract you from living a purpose driven life for Christ. That’s why He made all things yours.
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I recognize myself as a vessel of reconciliation. I live to impact my world with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, turning sinners from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. I thank you for your grace at work in me to fulfil this glorious purpose, in Jesus’ Name.

2 Corinthians 5:18-19: And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation
1 Corinthians 4:1-2 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.
