BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING
"The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it."
Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)
Main Text: Main Text: Genesis 12:1-3
The word “blessing” in Greek originates from “Eulogo”, which is a combination of “EU” (meaning good or well) and “Logos” (meaning word). To bless means to speak well of or to impart divine favor. Another Greek term, “EULOGIA”, describes one who has experienced God’s favor, while “EULOGESO” emphasizes God’s action—His commitment to bless individuals and extend that blessing to nations.
From the beginning, God has always been the God of blessing, and those who belong to Him are perpetual recipients of His favor. His blessings are endless, reaching far beyond material possessions. Instead of condemning the world, God demonstrated His love by giving us His only Son, Jesus, to fulfill His original plan of blessing humanity.
Many believers mistakenly equate blessings with material wealth, but biblical revelation shows that the blessing itself is not merely possessions—it is the supernatural empowerment from God that produces prosperity and success. The blessing is His divine ability, power, and anointing at work in our lives, enabling us to thrive in every area.
God’s blessing is not just for you—it is designed to flow through you to bless others. As you walk in His favor, you become a vessel through which His goodness reaches the nations. Trust in the Lord’s empowerment, and you will experience a life marked by abundance, joy, and lasting success.
Confession:
I boldly declare that I prosper. I am not defeated, but I am prospering and victorious. I am prospering in my mind, in my body, in my spirit, and in my finances.
