WELL DONE
“His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Matt 25:21 (KJV)
Main Text: Main Text: 1 Corinthians 4:2
The most important words any one will hear after their time on earth is done is the statement “well done thou good and faithful servant.” It is the heart desire of any true believer to hear those words because in them lies reward and eternity with God. It serves as one of the greatest motivators to live the Christian life effortlessly. When we reach the end of our life, it will be the most precious words said at our funeral and in the mouth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
There is only one person who has the power to prevent us from hearing these words and that person is ourselves. We are solely responsible for the outcome of our lives, therefore, it’s imperative we live a life fully dedicated and committed to God. A life of service to God. God isn’t looking for pastors, choristers, ushers, bishops, or whatever title you might hold, it didn’t say well done thou good and faithful Priest or whatever title, it says servant. God is looking for people who are committed to Him through service! This is part of the reasons why you must be useful in the church and the kingdom of God.
They are the greatest words we will ever hear from the mouth of Jesus, therefore, we have to make sure nothing comes in the way of us hearing those precious remarks. We must be committed and dedicated in the things of God.
Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus, I receive strength to successfully run my Christian race on the earth.
