THE ANOINTING
“And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us.”
2 Corinthians 1:21
Main Text: Main text: 1 John 2:20
The Anointing is the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer. It enables the believer to understand, apply, and administer spiritual truth. When you received Jesus and became baptized in the Holy Spirit, you became empowered to live out your life as Christian. The anointing is tangible, it’s as real as any physical substance you can lay hold of.
Isaiah 10:27 “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall depart from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” The anointing breaks the yoke, it has the power to take you from the back side to the forefront, the anointing of the Holy Spirit is one empowerment you need for a successful Christian walk. Jesus didn’t leave you comfortless, he sent His anointing to help you live an empowered life!
Isaiah 45:1 “Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be closed.” The anointing guarantees your victory! Scripture teaches us that he shows us how to make profit, this occurs by His Word and His Anointing! In all your seeking, seek out the anointing, desire it above the rubies of this world. Amen.
Prayer:
I praise you God for your anointing which resides in me and upon me, I declare I am a victor in all my affairs. Amen.
