THE PEACE OF GOD
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
Main Text: 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
The way the world is right now, the structures and systems of the world that’s driven by selfishness, wickedness, greed and hatred is designed by Satan. The implication of this is that the systems and structures of this world can never give peace. Peace is from God, just as
righteousness is from God. The peace the world is looking for is in Jesus Christ; no wonder it eludes them, because they’re searching for it in the wrong places.
The peace that you have in your Spirit is the peace of Jesus Christ; it gives you power over crises. Even in difficult times, when it seems there’s trouble everywhere, His peace garrisons your heart and mind causing you to be at rest in prosperity.
If you haven’t received Jesus into your life as Lord, it is impossible for people who have never received life & nature of God to deliver true peace. John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Confession:
I have the peace of God! I have not fear about the unknown because I do not have the spirit of fear! I am blessed of the Lord, in Jesus name.
