THE PEACE OF JESUS CHRIST

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
John 14:27 (KJV)
Main Text: Main text: 1 Thessalonians 5:23

Jesus wasn’t referring to the peace of being quiet from disturbance, but peace without worry and agitation. The peace Jesus spoke about is one full of rest and prosperity. Please note, He didn’t say my peace I will give unto you, He said “My peace I give unto you”. This basically means, you have the peace of Jesus now.

The words of Jesus are so comforting, He makes it clear that under no circumstances should you allow your head be troubled because He has filled you with His Peace. The Greek word for Peace is translated “Eirene” and it signifies wholeness, shalom, made perfect.

You have the peace of Jesus now, you have what governments of this world can’t provide, not even your family and friends can give you lasting peace, happiness and joy! Only Jesus can! In your life, no matter what happens, be full of confidence because you have the peace of Jesus Christ.

Confession

I enjoy perfect peace. I am comforted by the Holy Ghost. I rule and reign in life, my path shines bright and brighter, because I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
