THE POWER OF PURPOSE
“Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails”
Proverbs 19:21
Main Text: Ephesians 1:11
There’s a saying that goes when the purpose of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable. This simply means when you don’t know the normal use of a product, you will abuse it. Without purpose, activity has o meaning and time and energy are most definitely misused. The greatest tragedy in life is not death; it is a life without purpose. Once you discover your purpose in this life, it will drive you and cause you to stay focused on the things that are important.
Without clear purpose, life becomes an experiment. Remember, where purpose is known abuse is inevitable. Your purpose for living determines what is right knowing your purpose protects you from doing something good at the expense of doing what is right. It is very important that you know your purpose for being here on earth. The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, it’s greater than your career and family. If you want to know why you were placed on this earth, you must begin with God. You were born by His purpose and for His purpose.
Prayer:
Lord, by your Word, help me identify and understand my purpose in Jesus name. Amen
