YOU WERE BORN A KING AND MADE A PRIEST

The Bible calls us kings and priests (Revelation 1:6) and world overcomers (1 John 5:4). But for most of us, those are just phrases. They haven't become real to us. That's why the devil's been able to hoodwink us into living lives of defeat. It hasn't actually dawned on us who we really are. The Bible describes two distinct roles in the Old Testament-kings and priests. Kings were the rulers; priests were the religious leaders. The New Testament reveals we all are kings and priests because of the redemptive work of Christ. Now, when I say Kings and Priests, this is a two anointings, that are in the body of Christ. The priests being people who are mainly in the fivefold ministry: the Apostle, the Prophet, the Evangelist, pastor and teacher, and people who are in full-time ministry. And then the Kings - now these are people, who are in the marketplace. Could be an education, could be a bricklayer, could be in construction, a medical doctor, could be a lawyer, whatever there is in the marketplace. 

Now these are two separate anointings. Now, mainly the Priests anointing is to receive vision, that vision comes to the priest from God, that is concerning the body of Christ, and the movement, and the direction, and the timing of God. Now the Kings, on the other hand, receive the provision from God. Now they go out and fight battles. When I say fight battles, I'm talking about not fighting people, but fighting the good fight of faith, and go out, and actually get provision from the world system, and bring it back in to the Kingdom of God, so, that the vision of God can go forth.

Don't let the devil hoodwink you any longer. Step over the line from trying to believe to actually knowing by dwelling on the Word of God. Read it and think about it. Practise seeing yourself through the eyes of the Word until the reality of your royalty in Christ rises up in you!

Dear Father, thank you for the privilege to take hold together with you, to side with you in bringing your will to pass on behalf of others. Thank you for the dominion and the authority to alter the course of events in the earth, using the Name of Jesus. Amen!
