PRAYER

“Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Mark 11:24
Main Text: Main Text: 1 John 5:14–15

Prayer is the central nervous system of the believer. There’s no point believing or worshipping a God you do not speak to! Just as we communicate with our loved ones daily, it’s high imperative that we build and keep a relationship with the Lord! Of all the faiths in the world, Christians are the most docile when it comes to prayer, and that’s because we do not understand the power available when we pray or fellowship with the Lord.

The devil isn’t afraid of you or your connections, what he is afraid of is you getting on your knees, because he knows the weapon of your warfare isn’t carnal but mighty and powerful through God for the pulling down of strong hold (2 Cor 10:4). Prayer is like a child’s conversation with their father. It is natural for a child to ask his father for the things they need, or to ask for advice or guidance.

It important that as believers, we cultivate the discipline of spending time in His presence, this is our sure access into the power of the Living God! Don’t sleep on this – spend time in prayer today and watch how the blessedness of God unfolds in your life.

Prayer:

In the name of Jesus, I receive the discipline I need to spend time with God, I love the Lord with all my heart therefore, I spend time with Him in Jesus name. Amen.
