THE WORD OF GRACE;
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified
Acts 20:32
Main Text: Acts 20:30-32
The Word of God is beyond encyclopedia or journals of intellectuals compilation; the Word of God is God Himself and that’s what He honors more than His name. Of a truth His Word is everlasting and ever relevant evn in our present age. As you study the Scriptures, you’d often come across the phrase, “Thus saith (says) the Lord”; not, “Thus said the Lord.” “Thus says the Lord” means the Word of the Lord is alive daily, just as Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
The Word builds boldness, excellence and dominion into your spirit. The Word of God builds our minds. If you were afraid, the word of God can swallow up fear in you and brings out the Lion in you to face any challenge of life. That’s how powerful the Word can be. However, a notable thing about His Word; Apostle Paul said our spirit-man is built by “the Word of God’s grace.”
Give yourself to the study of the Word; contemplate and contrive the Word in meditation. As you do, the Holy Spirit will grant you insight into the mysteries and secrets of life and of our spiritual Kingdom. Amen.
Prayer:
O Lord, by the ministry of the Word of grace, and the Holy Spirit, my growth spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially is evident according to your Word. Amen.
