PERFECT PEACE

A life of peace is entirely attainable even in today’s stressful, strife-filled world. We can’t find peace through our own self effort. There’s plenty of junk in the world that can drag us down into despair if we think about it too much. Fortunately, we don’t have to dwell on it when we feel overwhelmed and unable to handle it. Our mind is a powerful and what we think about can cause us to fear and distress or have peace and tranquility. Phil 4:8 (AMP) “For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].”

God loves us and wants the best for us. When we believe this and trust Him to help us maintain a good attitude, he’s always faithful to do so. Focusing on God puts us in a position to receive peace from Him.

God’s will for you is peace, this is why Jesus died for you. Jesus said my peace I give to you (John 14:27). When we are able to trust and believe that we have the peace of Jesus within us, we will not go about worrying.

Confession

In Him I have peace, I enjoy perfect peace, I have no worries, I cast all my care on Him for He cares for me, I enjoy the best of God, I have all my needs met, my wants are satisfied, because I am a friend of the good shepherd. Amen.
