FAITH IN GOD’S WORD

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6
Main Text: Romans 10:17

Human faith can only believe what it can see, feel, taste, hear and smell. It’s limited to the five senses. Using natural human faith, we can sit in a Chair we’ve never sat in and believe it will hold us up. We fly in airplanes when we don’t fully understand how they work, we don’t know the pilot, but we believe and know everything will be okay. That takes human faith, which God gave to every person. What if I asked you to sit in a chair you couldn’t see? Or what if the chair was missing one of its legs and was falling over? You wouldn’t sit in a chair like that with human faith? Would you fly in a plane if you could see the engine falling off or the tires were flat? Your senses would forbid it.

When it comes to God, we have to believe things that we cannot see. You haven’t seen God or the devil. You haven’t seen heaven or hell, yet you believe. You haven’t seen sin, however, you believed you were a sinner before accepting Christ. You have to believe in all these things to be born again. How can you believe in things that you cannot see? The answer is simple, you can’t believe in invisible things with human faith, you need God’s supernatural faith.

We have the same quantity and quality of faith that Jesus has. Therefore, we can do the same works that Jesus did. The same faith you used in believing Jesus died for you is all you need to use in believing God’s Word! Take God at His Word.

Confession

I take God at His Word! I have the same quantity and quality of faith Jesus has. I do the works of Christ. I lay hands on the sick and the recover. I create solutions to hard puzzles, I have the Mind of Christ.
