YOU ARE HOLY
“But as he who called you is holy; you also be holy in all your conduct.”
1 Peter 1:15

Holiness is a word that can make us feel uneasy. It seems lofty, threatening, alien. However, this shouldn’t be the case, in Leviticus 19:2, God was calling his people into relationship with himself, and he wanted his people not only to survive the experience but to be nourished by it. But for that to happen, they needed to know the ground rules, needed to come to him on his terms not theirs.
Holiness brings us into a perfected relationship with Abba, without holiness, we wont see the Lord, simply because we become sin conscious and this affects our spiritual walk with the Lord. We are blessed to not work for our holiness, when we accepted Jesus, we automatically stepped into the nature of holiness, and all we need do is build on this.
You are holy because of Jesus, the finished works of Christ, made you holy! And understanding this great truth would set us apart to shine in our world.
Prayer:
Abba, thank you for ordaining me into the ordinance of holiness, I am grateful, I am holy, I walk in the blessing! Amen.
