YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SUCCESS
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Joshua 1:8
Main Text: Psalm 63:6
It’s important we realize that no one else is responsible for your life. Your choice to succeed or fail is entirely up to you, you decide the outcome of your life. The scripture teaches us that if we must succeed in life, we must get acquainted with God’s Word and meditate upon it day and night. You see, there is a wisdom and an understanding that comes through meditation that is beyond common and intellectual sense. It is mainly the method that God provided to renew our minds and impart to us ingenious waves of creativity and abilities, enabling us to walk in dominion here on the earth.
It’s time to learn the power and the importance of meditation, and how to bring the unseen promises of God into manifestation into your life. If you have not been meditating God’s Word, this truly is the missing link to your success and making your dreams a reality. No one is going to meditate on God’s Word for you; it is solely your responsibility. Meditation is what enabled Joshua and the nation of Israel to take possession of their inheritance, the Promised Land that was full of giants. He commanded them in Joshua 1:8 to meditate on His Word while they worked during the day and during the quiet hours of the night. Friends, devote time to meditating God’s Word in your heart and it will lead you into your Promised Land, too.
God has done His part by giving you His Word; therefore, you have to do your part by staying with His Word and standing upon his promises! Meditation feeds the imagination and is our part in allowing the Holy Spirit to paint a vivid picture of our success and the truth of God’s Word on the canvas of our soul. You actually see and believe God’s promises before they are manifested. This all works on the principle of seedtime and harvest. When you meditate the Word of God, you are actually sowing good seed into your mind which will grow.
Prayer
Lord, thank you for Your Word. I recognize that it holds the keys to Your blessing in my life. As I am faithful to meditate Your Word every day, I believe my way shall be made prosperous and I shall have good success. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
