TAKE A LOOK!

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Main Text: Main Text: Colossians 3:15

God has been good to us this year 2023, many ordeals came along the way, the devil threw many fiery darts but God gave us the absolute victory! Recognizing and expressing gratitude is beneficial for us. Similar to a wise father figure, God encourages us to cultivate a thankful attitude for the various gifts bestowed upon us (James 1:17). It is essential for our well-being to acknowledge that everything we possess is a gracious gift from Him. Without gratitude, there's a risk of developing arrogance and self-centeredness, leading us to believe that our achievements are solely our own. Gratitude helps maintain a humble and appreciative heart, acknowledging the source of all good gifts.

Take a look into the affairs of your life and see how far God has brought you, He alone is worthy of our praises! He deserves the best dance, songs, and accolades! We need to show God we are beyond thankful and express our thanksgiving as a child would! Even in challenging circumstances, we have the capacity to maintain thankful hearts towards God. It's possible to feel grief, experience pain, or even be angered by sin and still cultivate gratitude. This is described in the Bible as a "sacrifice of praise" (Hebrews 13:15). Expressing gratitude to God serves to keep our hearts in proper alignment with Him, shielding us from a multitude of detrimental emotions and attitudes that can deprive us of the peace that God intends for us to enjoy (Philippians 4:6–7).

Expressing gratitude, particularly through Thanksgiving, has the remarkable ability to unleash the power of blessings in your life, transcending the boundaries of your most profound and expansive imagination. Take an intelligent look into your year and see how far God has brought you, isn’t He worthy of your praise?

Prayer:

Father, I thank you for your marvelous kindness towards me and my family! You alone are worthy to be praise! Thank you, ABBA!
