I HAVE A NEW LIFE

The new creation life didn’t start from Jesus being nailed to the Cross, but from the RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST; we’re the fruits of His resurrection. When Jesus died, you died with Him. When He was buried, you were buried with Him. When He resurrected, you also arose with Him possessing a new creation life in Him.

Romans 6:4 says, “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Your new life began with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, it’s a divine life.

Understandably, your old life no longer exists. In fact, the so-called past is erased 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Simply understand that your past was nailed to the cross.

In Romans 7:6, the Apostle Paul admonished that we serve God in the newness of spirit: “But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.” He also said in Colossians 3:10, “…put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.”

Today, what counts with God is that you’re born again and are a new creature in Christ Jesus (Galatians 6:15). You’re now in His class of being; an associate of the God-kind; a partaker of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). You’ve been made alive in Christ. All these are as a result of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Get excited and praise God now!

Confession: Blessed be God! I have the incorruptible life of Christ in my spirit. I’m reigning in life by grace through righteousness. I walk in the reality of the new life of righteousness, which I’ve received in Christ. I’m more than a conqueror; I live in dominion over Satan and the world!
