THE PEACE OF GOD
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27 (KJV)
Main Text: Main text: John 14:20-27
The peace of God which passes all understanding is the harmony and calmness of body, mind and spirit that supersedes earthly circumstances. Peace is a blessing from God and is harmonious with His character. The peace of God can be described as a tranquil state of appreciation and faith when we submit to and trust the commandments of God.
God is inherently peaceful, then to appreciate God is to live in His peace. The nearer we move to Him, the more of His peace we can experience. When we grow in our knowledge of God’s love for us, our minds and spirits develop a restful faith of his power and grace. At this point, we begin to recognize that He really will make all things work together for our good and His purpose will be achieved.
In the coming year, I want to challenge you to walk in the peace of God, we don’t know what the year holds, however, we have this confidence that we overcome all the traps of the enemy and walk in true prosperity. Refuse anxiety or fear. God has not given you the spirit of fear but of love and a sound mind (2 Tim 1:7)
GOOD BYE YEAR 2023 AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024 IN ADVANCE.
Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus, I enjoy the peace of God, I am peaceful in my spirit and I overcome fear in any form. Praise God.
