You Are A Priest

“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
Revelations 5:10
Main Text: Main Text: Revelation 1:6

Jesus didn’t just make you a King, He also made you a priest. Nobody is capable of dethroning you except yourself. If you decide to abdicate your throne somebody else will occupy it. The first Adam abdicated his throne to the devil and Satan rode on him all his days! However Jesus came and set us apart and ordained us into two dynamic offices! The kingly office and the priestly office! You are a priest!

As a priest we have access to the throne of grace. (Hebrews 4:16 NKJV) “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” Christ combines both the Priestly and Kingly roles. We are created to be like Him, we are created in his image to reign as Priests and Kings. As he reigned on earth, so are we called to reign. As Christ did great works here on the earth, so are we commanded to do greater works than he did (John 14:12). The ability for greater works does not depend on us but on Christ who dwells in us by His Spirit.

It’s important we note that Christ desires that we reign on the earth and He made available every tool needed to have dominion on the earth! As a priest, you have access to God and you have the anointing of the Holy One of Israel in you. Hallelujah!

Confession:

I am a priest on the earth, I rule and reign upon the earth, I’m not a waste, I have a purpose and in my purpose, I will please the Lord.
