THINK RIGHT THOUGHTS
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

A brain scientist said in one of her books “As we think, we change the physical nature of our brain. As we consciously direct our thinking, we can wire out toxic patterns of thinking and replace them with healthy thoughts.” In essence what this means is that our thoughts control our reality! Don’t ever see yourself as a non-entity, in adversely, how you see yourself is how you will carry yourself and get addressed, it’s important to note that God didn’t create you as second fiddle! You have untapped potentials within you! And it’s your choice to untap these potentials. Changing the way you think changes your perspective which changes how you act in the world. Paul’s words aren’t new. “Change your mind” is the central theme of Jesus’ first sermon (Matt. 4:17).
Jesus challenged people to change their thinking because regardless how many times you read through the Bible, if your mind doesn’t change, you will simply impose your biases and labels on the words you read. The mystery of thoughts is such that it doesn’t only govern how you lead your life, but even governs the directions of the lives of your kids. That’s why if you don’t change your mentality God says “I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents up on their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected — even children in the third and fourth generations.” Exodus 34:7. Science has confirmed this truth. The science of epigenetics has shown that our dispositions, bad habits, anxiety, and hatred of cats can impact our kids even before they are conceived.
It/s important for us to think right thoughts, scripture admonishes us to ponder on the right things, because the right things will produce the right results. Choose to think on the World to attain that which God has in store for you.
Prayer:
In the name of Jesus, I think right thoughts, I cast out every evil imagination, I am blessed and favored of the Lord, I think good and fruitful thoughts in Jesus name! Amen.
