THE DEVIL A LIAR, FATHER OF ALL LIES
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
John 8:44
Main Text: 2 Corinthians 4:4
Satan is a LIAR! An impostor is one who assumes an identity or title not his own for the purpose of deception. Satan is a deceiver— he’s told some people God wants them sick and they believe it, I can't just imagine how! Devil has said all manners of lies about God and wants his captors remain poor and defeated i their minds. They believe, he’s told them Salvation is by works and they believe — He is the father of lies! That is his true character.
Just as Jesus manifest truth and is the full embodiment of truth, Satan manifest deception, speaks lies and his the full embodiment of all that is false. Throughout the ages, his main ambition has been to hinder men from seeing the glorious truth that lies in God/Christ. When he stole the godhead of this world from Adam, he gained the ability to manipulate the truth, thereby, blinding the minds of unbelievers from receiving the truth.
The major weapon Satan uses to deceive spme Christians is the manipulation of the Word. The very weapon God has given us to defeat Satan, he turns it around and uses it against us just like he did with Eve. Satan used his word against Eve. He deceived her into thinking God lied. However, we have the advantage, We’ve been made to seat together with Christ, therefore, by the inner man we know how to put the devil in his place — under our feet!
Confession:
My mind is garrisoned by the Word of God! I think God’s Word and act the Word! Thank You Father for giving me the victory over the devil, I am above always! Glory to God in the highest!
