STAND IN THE GAP
“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence....”
1 Timothy 2:1-4 (NKJV)
Main Text: Romans 10:1-5
When you bridge the gap, you cause the rain of God’s Spirit to bring the harvest of the human race into the family of God. Romans 8:22 “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” (KJV) Intercessory prayer is in response to the Word, it is characterized by fervency and self-denial, identified unselfishly with God’s people, and has its goal to glorify God. Your prayer may be for salvation, healing or any area that needs deliverance from the grip of Satan.
Satan has blinded the eyes of those who have not received the gospel of Jesus. When you stand in the gap, you wrestle against evil spirits that have deceived them. It is practically giving yourself, your time, your life for others. John 15:13 “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (KJV) This is the God kind of love!
God’s heart still yearns for sinners to be restored to Himself and desires a close relationship with every believer through fellowship.
Confession: I declare in the name of Jesus, I am an intercessory, I am a soul winner, I am a person after God’s heart, I am prosperous, I am blessed! I walk in the newness of life, glory to God I am blessed.

Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike…
