PRAY IN THE NAME

The name was considered by the Israelites to be so powerful and holy that they reverenced it too much to say it and eventually the proper pronunciation of the name was lost. Jesus inherited His name from Almighty God. This is the most awesome, powerful name that exists and Jesus obtained it by inheritance. It was conferred on Him after He purged our sins through the work of redemption (Hebrews 1:3, 8). 

The name Jesus inherited, the name God conferred on Him after His ascension to the throne of grace is God’s own divine name. The name of Jesus has an unparalleled authority and power that you and other believers can access. 

God’s power is immeasurable and every bit of it is in His name. Romans 8:17, you and I are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, so the name belongs to us just as much as it belongs to Jesus. It belongs to every born again child of God. Ephesians 3:15. His name is our name and we can wield it with the same confidence and authority as Jesus.

Confession                            

Today, right now, I declare that there is power in the Name of Jesus. And it’s through His Name that I have the victory. I have it now. I have it in the Name that’s above every name—the mighty Name of Jesus. And, when I speak that Name, demons have to flee. Sickness has to depart from me. Poverty is no longer my lot in life. Lack has to go when I speak the Name.
