SHOW ME YOUR GLORY
“And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.â€
Exodus 33:18
Main Text:
“And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.” (Exodus 33:17). God is ready to fulfil the desires of the righteous and because He’s the Almighty, He cannot fail in any way. Your request before His throne can never be outrageous. God is expecting deep requests from all His children. He is omnipotent and is more than able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you can ever ask or think according to His power that works in us. Moses was smart enough to place His request at the particular time that he did. He understood the times and seasons. He knew when to secure the required help from the Almighty. He was called the meekest on earth because of his works and intimacy with God.
What exactly is your request before God? Are you considering it too big and that’s why you have refused to ask the Owner of the heavens and the earth? He will do it. The only barrier or blockage is when your citizenship of His kingdom is questionable. If you have surrendered your life (spirit, soul and body) to Him in spirit and in truth, I rejoice with you because you are the next to see the glory of the father. “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24:1).
Beloved, your request cannot overwhelm God. It is your responsibility to ask. Are you suffering any form of challenge? God will give you testimony of His glory. All you need do is to ask Him.
“And He said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.” (Exodus 33:19).
Why not ask for mercy and grace to help in this time of your great need? You have been quiet long enough. Weeping and keeping mute will not solve anything. You need the glory of God.
Prayer: May my waiting on you profit me greatly O Lord
