YOU ARE ANOINTED

“You have loved righteousness [You have delighted in integrity, virtue, and uprightness in purpose, thought, and action] and You have hated lawlessness (injustice and iniquity). Therefore, God, [even] Your God (Godhead), has anointed You with the oil of exultant joy and gladness above and beyond Your companions.
Hebrews 1:9 (AMP)
Main Text:

Do you realize that right now you are ‘anointed’ by God? ‘Anointing’ is not just for special Christian leaders or speakers. It is for all of us. Do you know that this anointing gives you power over sin, temptation and evil? Do you know that this anointing gives you access to God in prayer and worship? Do you know that this anointing enables you to proclaim God’s message to others?

Many Christians think they are ordinary, they believe they aren’t qualified enough to be anointed by Jesus, forgetting the fact that the moment you accepted Jesus, you become more than qualified. You might feel you are not “good enough” but the bible says God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise (1 Cor 1:27).

Jesus Christ is the Anointed One and the day you chose Him you became not just righteous but anointed! If you are “in Christ,” there is an anointing for everything you are called to do, no matter how small or how great the task. That’s why the Apostle Paul could say, “I can do all things through Christ (the Anointed and His Anointing) which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13).

Confession: I am strengthened in the inner man; I am anointed by Jesus Christ the Anointed One. I go about doing good heling all oppressed of the devil and God is with me! I am a blessing.

1 John 2:27 (KJV) “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”
