GOD’S WORD CANNOT FAIL
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9 KJV
Main Text:
So many years ago, a man’s word is all you needed; to certain level, you can be at rest with the word of men in those days. The opposite is what we experience in the world today. Truth is a very scarce commodity even in the church. What now has gone wrong? Where did we get it wrong? Why is the socio-political, economic and civil society full of compromises?
Integrity as a virtue is no longer a common factor, deception is the order of the day. People are now economical with truths; no real intentions on fulfilling obligation or promise. Wow! What a world we now find ourselves!
Nevertheless, I have good news for you, the Bible says the Word of God is yes and amen. II Corinthians 1:20. It will never fail. Every spoken and written promise of the Lord is time bound and with much patience and endurance, we shall see the manifestations in our lives if we faint not. The word of the Lord must surely come to pass. God will never lie. As we look ahead to 2020, you will experience beautiful testimonies.
It doesn’t matter the lies of the devil, one thing I know is that Jesus is coming to take His saints to the side of God. It’s wisdom to live ready to see Him when He shall appear again to take us home. Don’t allow the world’s lies shift your focus on the reality of eternal life. In John 14:3. Are you ready for the close of this age? Check your life and be sure His Word is keeping you stayed in faith. Consider your ways and make amends where you need to. He’s coming for a glorious church, a people without spot or wrinkle or any blemish. Be extra committed in your service to God!
Prayer: Don’t allow the lies of men make me depart from your promise of eternal life O Lord
