BEWARE OF WHAT FLESH CAN DESTROY 2
“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.â€
Galatians 5:17
Main Text:
There are so many battles we could have effortlessly won in the place of prayers and fasting, but our fears had always been we don’t have the capacity to fast or pray. It’s so funny that our laziness has led us into having specially arranged prayer warriors in church and on mountains that we pay very well so that they can pray for us. If you allow flesh to determine your destiny, it can only make you regret in the long run.
If flesh succeeds in deceiving you through lust, you will not only lose the blessings you have been enjoying over time, you will also lose your place in the kingdom just like Samson. What are you running after my brethren? These worldly things that have taken your time and will not allow you to remember your God in the morning or night nor allow you to be in church for services will not fetch you eternity. Why not drop the works of the flesh and go after God. “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16.
If you will yield your heart and life to the Spirit of God and abolish the dictates of the flesh, God will not only bless you, He will arise to defend your case everywhere you go. Consider your steps and make amends before it’s too late. Don’t forget Samson, he went off guard and was destroyed with the sinners in the land. Same story was told of Demas in II Timothy 4:10, that she abandoned God to follow the lust of the world.
May you live to fulfill destiny in the name of Jesus. God will grant you victory over alcohol, smoking, adultery and fornication and those demonic attractions in the name of Jesus.
Prayer: Father, help me, give me the grace to identify and avoid the lustful dictates of the flesh
