THE RIGHTEOUS WALK NOT GOOD WORKS
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
Main Text: Ephesians 2:10-20
Some people think that by their good works overriding their bad works, God surely will consider them. Our good works and righteous efforts are just like filthy rags before God. Your acts of self-righteousness won’t answer for you before God. That’s the reason Jesus had to pay the penalty for our sins
The second you got saved, something changed on your inside. The old you died and a new you was reborn in Christ. You became the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. More importantly, you became created unto good works. Everything you lay your hands on is meant to prosper because you have been created in Christ Jesus the Anointed One.
The verse above states that God prepared that you walk in, however, what are you expected to walk in? God created you in Christ Jesus to walk in the glory and to walk in the glory is to emanate success, prosperity and everything that makes your Christian walk successful.
Most of us grew up in environments that sold a lie to us. We were told we are not good enough and probably not able to handle the goodies of this world, however, when Jesus died for you, He made sure of the fact that all you need for life and godliness was freely given to you by creating you unto good works!
Confession: I am God’s workmanship created unto good works, therefore, I declare, I am blessed, I am prosperous, I manifest good works in Jesus name.
