YOU’VE GOT IT WITH YOU!

“… His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge…”
II Peter 1: 3
Main Text:

Most believers all over the world don’t like to hear this, but it is true – “the more knowledge you have about God, the less you will have to pray”. The power in the Word of God is enough to make you brag. The Word of God has the ability to break yoke and deliver from oppression. A young believer was once threatened by a herbalist of death and what the brother did was to let the man know that the Word of God is quick and powerful. The young man held on to the word of God and His promises that are forever unfailing “The right Hand of the Lord is exalted; the right hand of the Lord does valiantly, I shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord” Psalm 118:16-17.

The following morning, it was the noise for help that the herbalist’s first son was dying that woke him up. All glory to God, he rushed there and prayed. If it were not for his intervention in prayers, the herbalist son would have died untimely.

Beloved, what you know about God is what will get you going through the storm. When every other thing fails, what you have discovered about God (maybe His word) is what you will hold on to and in times of storm, it will be your anchor. So many things we ask for today have been given to us already.

All we need do is to search the scripture and find it out. Many believers today pray for several years for the Holy Spirit to come and dwell in them when in the actual fact, they had the indwelling of the Holy Spirit the moment they received Christ. A believer once said he would fast for days simply to ask for forgiveness. What do you say about that?

Beloved, if you ask from God what will harm your destiny, God will not hesitate to deny you of such until you learn to pray right..

Prayer: Answer me when I call O Lord!
