THE BLESSINGS IN FOLLOWING

“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”
1 Corinthians 11:1 (KJV)
Main Text:

God has destined everyone for greatness. We all have a bright future, however, in most cases, until we identify who we are to follow, we never attain that future that God has destined for us. It’s important, we come to a point in our mind that we know to submit to a man is not demeaning but uplifting.

Many of us haven’t understood the principles of following and submission, this is why we remain at the same level in our spiritual lives, finances, and every other area of life. Your next level is greatly determined by your association. If a poor man begins to follow a wealthy man, in no time, that poor man will begin to walk in the same level of wealth as the wealthy man. Every successful person in scriptures followed, it is therefore important that we know this principle because this is what will determine how far we grow in life.

What is following? Following is the art of copying, the art of emulating someone, the art of imitating someone, the art of trying to be someone, the art of reproduction, the art of cloning, the art of becoming a double, the art of becoming a twin, the art of catching up and the art of surging forward. Jesus used the art of following to transform unlearned fishermen into becoming leaders of a worldwide movement. If Jesus could implement this tool, it’s important that as Christians, we follow suite in order to reach our great destiny.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I receive the grace and discipline to submit myself to those who You’ve brought my way thereby leading to my next level in Jesus name.
