IT CAN RAIN AGAIN IF…
“And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, behold, these ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, go up, say unto Ahab, prepare thy chariot, and get thee down that the rain stops thee notâ€

Main Text:
Why is sin so prevalent in the world? It is simply as a result of lust, which has totally taken over the mankind. Everyday, man desires to have more urge to meet his satisfaction but that satisfaction can never be met hence people keep sinning. Sin is committed at will because of the erroneous view that it will not be punished. What many do not know is that sin produces temporal and eternal spiral consequences. Draught, death, destruction, darkness, distress, discouragement and discipline visited Israel as a result of their disobedience and divided loyalty to God. Blessings are withheld when God is ignored. “Again, when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him …†(Ezekiel 3: 20a). Elijah was a witness of Jehovah against the sinners in Israel; under kingdom principles he placed drought on the land for three and a half years. What brought the abundance of rain? Repentance, confession and turning back to God. “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn form their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7: 14). Are you going through a drought today? Many of us are going through the situation that is man-made. You can dislike God and still expect that God will rain His abundance upon you. In humility, turn to God at His reproof, confess and forsake a life of rebellion and sin. Then pray in faith and once again the abundance of rain will come again and your life will experience newness of Christ. Prayer: God’s abundance will fall upon me Further Reading: 1 Kings 18:41-46 Read through the Bible: Esther 7 & John 2
