YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN 1

“Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
John 3:7 (KJV)
Main Text:

Being “born again” is required for salvation. The term, “born again” was introduced to Nicodemus in the Bible and explained by Jesus in Scripture. A person is “born again” through faith in Jesus Christ, who paid the price for your redemption by His precious blood and bore the judgement for your sin. Isa 53:5 “But it was for our sins he was wounded, and for our evil doings he was crushed: he took the punishment by which we have peace, and by his wounds we are made well.”

1 Cor 2:14 (BBE) “For the natural man is not able to take in the things of the Spirit of God: for they seem foolish to him, and he is not able to have knowledge of them, because such knowledge comes only through the Spirit.” The principle of being “born-again” is difficult for the sinner to fully understand, it doesn’t mean entering into your mother womb another time, instead, it means confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart that Jesus is Lord to the glory upon the Father.

A birth contemplates the non-existence of life prior to conception. The fall of Adam and Eve imputed the presence of sin upon all of mankind. Just as aging affects the body, sin damages and infects the soul. But the soul dies to the power of sin when its faith is placed upon Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and Savior, I believe you died for me, and I know I am rescued from hell, death and the grave. Glory to God.
