ASK DON’T QUERY GOD
“Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.”
Jeremiah 33:3 (NLT)
Main Text: Acts 2:40-43
Your aim in prayer is to have answers. Prayer is the foundation of every successful Christian walk. Time spent with God is vital to a fruitful Christian life. Prayer lays a vital role in living a successful Christian life. Study the scriptures, study contemporary times, study the lives of the great men and women of God from time immemorial and you will see the strong emphasis they placed on prayer. Without prayer, they would never have been able to achieve such tremendous results. James 5:16 “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” (NLT)
Jesus is the perfect example of One who knows how to pray and get results. He spent hours separated from people, praying and fellowshipping with His Heavenly Father. The time He spent in prayer prepared Him to minister efficiently and effectively.
In the Acts of Apostles, we see that the early church placed utmost priority on prayer. They valued it, and it became the foundation of the early church. Apostle Paul prayed and interceded many hours for the new coverts. Ephesians 1:15-16
God expects us to be given to prayer and to query. Jesus commanded us to pray Luke 18:1. As believers, you can achieve the same results Jesus did during His earthly ministry and more. Remember Jesus said Greater things shall you do (John 14:12) These greater works can be accomplished today, however, only by believers who have a deep, sincere prayer life with God.
Confession: I declare according to the Word of God, I am fruitful, I am blessed, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am blessed in the city and I am blessed in the field. I am blessed! Glory to God.
Prayer: I receive strength in the place of prayer
