THE LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
Psalm 24:8 KJV
Main Text:

There are 2 fascinating names in the defense line up of Nigeria Super Eagles, they are Leon Balogun and Troost Ekong. The 2 players have something common to their surnames. The names literally interpreted as warlords in their respective tribes. Anyway, they both live up to the meaning of the names whenever Super eagles is on the field of play.

The Lord our God is mighty. He’s not just mighty but strong and mighty in battle. The reason you are constantly encouraged to be strong and of good courage is because you have a father in heaven who is able to defend your course on the earth. You won’t need to be afraid of the schemes and strategies of the evil one. The Lord who is resident in you is far greater than the gods of this world 1 John 4:4. He’s at work concerning your case and He will never at any time allow you to be defeated. He’s mighty and stronger than you can imagine. He will strengthen your heart and ensure you remain victorious over every issue and battles of life. This can actually work for those who know Him. The moment you begin to doubt His ability in your life, there is no way you can see Him intervene in the cause of your life. The Bible says as many that believe Him are given the power to be sons of God.

Beloved, you need to know this God. Ignorance is not a kingdom virtue and you are expected to have adequate knowledge of His Word. The Bible says …we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God… 1 Corinthians 2:12,

You have access to divine blessings and security. Be strong and of good courage because the Lord our God is mighty, He will arise for your sake this November.

Prayer:  Father, please maintain your position in my life and never allow me to be afraid of the threats of the wicked.
