DON’T KEEP QUIET

“You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways”
Job 22:28, NASB
Main Text:

The Prayer of Jabez comes from the Bible. In 1 Chronicles 4:10:

"And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that Thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that Thine hand might be with me, and that Thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested." The prayer centred mainly on a need for change in his life and composed of four parts. First, Jabez asks God to bless him. Second, he asks God to enlarge his territory or increase his responsibility. Third, he prays that God will be with him and stay close. Lastly, Jabez asks that God keep him from harm so that he will be free from pain.

Beloved just like Jabez, we all have areas in our lives where we desire to see change; areas we know we need to come up higher or addictions and strongholds we need to break. The good news is that God has given us the power to make! Scripture says in the book of Revelations that we overcome by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony. When we make our words line up with God’s Word, then what we declare will be established in our lives.

So often, we complicate life more than we need to. Our minds get busy trying to “figure” everything out. So many people spend more time analyzing their situation instead of applying God’s  prevailing Word to their situation! But today, don’t be quiet with your unsatisfactory situation , taking few minutes to declare His prevailing Word over your troubles is what you need. Don’t live in mediocrity any longer. Let God’s Word have cause on you because there is no demon that stand the Word of God in any whatever capacity! Go for the prevailing Word today and your testimony will be mind-blowing.

Prayer: My change for good will unfold this month of March in Jesus name
