GOD’S BATTLE AXE

Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war…
Jeremiah 51: 20
Main Text:

An axe is made from metal; for it to get its shape, the metal-smith puts the metal in fire and hits hard on it, to shape-shift it, So also are human beings in the hands of God. If you must become God’s battle-axe, passing through fire becomes non-negotiable. Passing through fire might not be pleasant but in the end, it makes a person a better vessel. Passing through fire could be trials, temptations, hardship etc. Sometimes, a person passes through fire without knowing why, but when you’re in the will of God it’s always God making you stronger. In Jeremiah 51:20-23--Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms.... God was speaking about Cyrus...He called him His battle-ax, His weapon of war...

Cyrus became an instrument of judgement against many nations and kingdoms, but particularly against Babylon... which had carried the tribes of Israel and Judah into captivity..

Cyrus had the heart and vision of a warrior...he knew he was to accomplish a divine mission in the earth....It was the time for Israel to be released from bondage and God worked through Cyrus to bring His plan to pass.....

In this day, when everything seems to be misunderstood and defiles human solutions God is fashioning another weapon of war in you and me,.not formed by and through the life of one man or woman who can make boast in it, but by a company of warriors for this end time mission, raised up to take cities and nations and cause transformation in the earth. This great company of holy people, His warrior bride redeemed by His own blood, His glorious church without wrinkles, walking in revelation of the knowledge of God, clothed in anointing worshiping in holiness and moving in the rhythms of His grace, sanctified, fully able to not just run, but ready to WIN the race of the journey of life. We will arise and release the captives and take Kingdom dominion and authority!

Prayer: Holy Spirit of God keep using me
