DIVINE COUNSEL 2

One thing is key to the all-round success of this year in your life and family at large, you will need God at all times to get it right. Man’s greatest undoing in this year of His Kingdom would be to displace God in his calculations and plans. What can we be outside God? We live by mercy and grace. Nothing good is achieved by a believer outside God, and especially when you acknowledge God as the true giver of your resources, you can expect to have more and more of His blessings in all you do.

Don’t get the year started with your human wisdom or reasoning. “But the natural man received not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14. You will be frustrated to think to handle life on your own. Ironically for many people, when they get to their wits end, when they could no longer make progress with life, they run back to God. Why not start straight with God before things go out of hand?

What do you even know about the days ahead? What do you know about the coming weeks? What will you be able to achieve if God is not directing you? Nothing! You can only escape the failures ahead if you are connected to His counsel and Kingdom.

Your choice should be guided by the word of God. You must not take any step until you have connected with your Maker through His Word and by faith of prayers. In whatsoever you want to do this 2019, make sure the counsel of the Lord is your only choice. If it’s God leading and advising you, you can be sure this year will be a better year for you, your family and this Nation.

Prayer: Don’t allow me to be carried away with natural wisdom.
