RESIST; DON’T HELP THE DEVIL
But He answered and said, every plant which My heavenly father has not planted will be uprooted.
Matthew 15:13
Main Text:
Resist the devil. Don’t assist him with your confessions. Do not give him any little assistance otherwise he will be in total control. The Bible says we should resist the devil. Be active and aggressive in employing the Word of God. Don’t give the devil any space in your life because if he tracks and traps you, he will not spare you. Do not magnify demons. No snake is innocent, though beautiful they may appear always get ready to break its head. Some satanic seeds are very innocent in appearance … some are so disguised like the right seed. Kill its seeds; uproot them before they take root. Make sure your life is always free of demonic attractions because dirt will always attract flies.
Beloved, don’t resist the devil in fear. Resist him in stubborn faith. Don’t be precautious as to imply fear and doubt of God’s living word.
Flee from sin. Flee every appearance of evil, and the devil himself will flee from you, too. Like begets like. Resist the devil; do so with the Word of God. Command him to get behind you. In the Book of Acts, we read of how Paul defeated the followers of Artemis or Diana the goddess at Ephesus. Paul did not attack her statues par-se. Paul simply went on preaching Jesus Christ to them. It is Demetrius the head of the silversmiths who drew everyone’s attention to Diana and their dwindling fortunes due to Paul’s teachings.
Living in sin assists the devil, but purity keeps him at bay. To rule and reign demands your understanding of the Word of God and passionately living out your life on the Word.
Prayer: I resist every satanic move to frustrate my destiny in Jesus name
