OCCUPY TILL I COME
And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Luke 19:13 KJV
Main Text:
The words of Christ in some Bible pages were captured in red for emphasis, reference and detailed concentration. Once you see His words, you are guided to read and digest them for your spiritual nourishment. One of such words of Christ is our topic this morning: Occupy till I come. Let it be known to you that the force of redemption has brought to play some level of divine gifts which were automatically resuscitated in your life at salvation. To this extent, God wants maximum fruitfulness from you so that you will be a major contributor to His purpose and kingdom on the earth. You are therefore loaded with grace for exploits on the earth and the earlier you discover this, the better for you.
You are expected to occupy and operate in the seats of Christ till He appears in glory to make us reign with Him eternally. Don’t allow anything of the flesh get you carried away from this great purpose of God for your life. You are an ambassador of Christ and you must live out this. Any other earthly engagement that’s taking your time and life out of God’s mission is nothing but a channel of distraction into eternal destruction. You shouldn’t be working towards failure of any kind not to talk of eternal damnation in hell. Use your God given gifts and talents for His glory. Don’t allow the world to steal your crown and beauty in the name of affluence and fame. Be totally submerged in the love of Christ and let His Word rule your life. If you are fruitful and truly productive, you will be blessed here on earth and you reign eternally with Jesus at the close of the age. Who is in charge of your life, time, and gifts, God or the world? Think through and do the needful before it’s too late.
Prayer: Father, the door of my heart is opened. Please keep using me for your glory. Guide me and enlarge my mission.
