AVOID BEING TRAPPED AGAIN
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.â€.
Galatians 5:1
Main Text:
The devil has no access to your regenerated heart until you permit him. How? The moment you begin to fail to obey the word of God, the word of the devil will automatically answer for you. Rejecting God’s Word means, He can no longer control your life, thoughts, emotions and lifestyle except you quickly run back to Him in repentance before the damage is done. Once you are delivered from the powers of sin, Jesus automatically seals you with the blood of redemption which will keep you safe except you engage in a foul play. Your growth in grace should be a daily exercise for you. If you fail to realise that the devil walks about seeking whom he may devour, you can’t but be corrupted by his tricks and subtlety. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walked about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1 Peter 5:8.
If there’s anything you must guide jealously, it’s your salvation and that hope that you will see Jesus at his second appearance. If you live carelessly you will find yourself going back to your vomit. I pray for you; the devil will not succeed concerning your soul in Jesus mighty name.
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” (Galatians 5:1). It is a clear possibility that a born again Christian can be yoked into bondage again. Though the devil has no claim again over your soul, if you give him a second chance, he will make things worse than they have ever been. That is why you need a clear separation from your former manners, unholy friends, ungodly relationships, forbidden locations and all the rest. The Bible says: “Blessed is the man that walked not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.” (Psalm 1:1).
Prayer: I will never go back to the world
