ONLY GOD YOU MUST FEAR 2

Your level of knowledge and obedience to the word of God will determine how far you will go in His program and agenda in life. If you trust Him and obey all that He has commanded you, things will work out for you in a very easy manner. The instructions of God are not difficult neither are they grievous, but the lust of the eye will never allow us see what is right to do. There’s no mountain too high in following in the footsteps of Christ. He also obeyed God throughout His life on earth. The Bible says: “Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;” (Hebrews 5:8). The quality of true sonship is seen in complete obedience and respect of the Almighty. If you disregard the place of God in your life, you will end up a victim of the dictates of the devil but with God on your side, you will easily overcome every challenge of life because, you will know that great is He in you than the one in the world.

“Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications… and was heard in that He feared;” (Hebrews 5:7). God will listen to you if you will fear Him. I don’t mean challenging God or grumbling in His presence. Your love for Him should compel you to serve Him better. “What man is he that feareth the LORD...?’ Psalm 25:12.

Another thing that God will do when you fear Him is to order your steps rightly and lead you in the way that you should go. God does not gain anything when you fear Him, you are the one who gains everything that you will ever desire. It’s therefore important that you prayerfully consider your ways and tune your spirit man towards loving God and obeying all His commandments.

Prayer:  Help me to hold on in your fear and admonition
