THE BLESSESNESS OF FOLLOWING JESUS
“Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
Gal 1:4-5
Main Text: MAIN TEXT: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
Believe it or not, there are countless benefits to following Jesus Christ. The peace of mind we enjoy in Him can never be compared to anything else. It’s essential to understand that Jesus Christ came so you wouldn’t have to suffer any longer—from sin, sickness, disease, or poverty! He came to deliver you from the evils of this present world.
Ask yourself: Does sin glorify God in your life? Does sickness or poverty bring Him glory? Absolutely not! Jesus Christ came to free you from these burdens so that you would never have to suffer again. Why not make the decision to follow Him all the days of your life? Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He has the power to give you an abundant and fulfilled life.
I encourage you to make the wise decision to follow Jesus. The benefits are countless, but the most important one is the salvation of your soul from the torment of Hell. Hell is a real place, and you don’t want to experience the horrors awaiting those who reject salvation. Isaiah 14:9 paints a vivid picture: "Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations." Spare yourself the agony and horror of Hell by accepting Jesus Christ today. Become a child of God and receive the gift of eternal life.
Confession:
I declare that I follow Jesus Christ, and I do not suffer from sin, sickness, or poverty. I experience prosperity all the days of my life, and I enjoy longevity in Jesus' name. Amen.
