WHY BELIEVE? 2

Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
John 11:40 KJV
Main Text:

To some people, Christianity is overrated and one sided. This set of people feel that not everything a man of God preaches should be believed. From research, it was discovered that the reason for this was because of unanswered prayers or delay in certain prayer requests made.

There’s nothing about your life that can be too much for the Almighty. He’s more than able to answer your prayers and to lead you to your ordained destiny. It’s only important you believe. As a Christian, there are certain times you might feel weary. You may feel that you are praying for nothing or you may feel that God is just looking down at you and not doing anything about your situation. It is also possible to feel like not going to church anymore because to you; what is the point? I would like to ask you the following questions:

Why have you decided to follow Christ and not other gods? What is the essence of having faith in God if you were not ready to carry your cross? What makes you different from Job in the Bible, Apostle Paul or Jesus, the Son of God? After all, they had their own share of trials which they eventually overcame.

As a child of God, you need to believe because the way I see it, you really have no choice; its either you serve Him or you don’t. You need to believe because He still answers prayers regardless of how long it takes. You need to believe because every Christian encounters challenges but what makes us different from unbelievers is the victory we have at the end of the day and the testimonies that abound from those challenges.  Hebrews 13:5I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee,” He does mean it and He will make all things work in your favour.

Prayer: Keep me strong even in my trying moments
