LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU “
Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]â€
Philippians 2:5 (AMP)
Main Text:
Jesus was willing to give up something in order to be submissive and obedient to the will of His Father. He gave up full glory to become man, He willingly committed to being the sacrifice for all human sin. Jesus knew the plan and He had confidence in the plan, and He agreed with it.
The anchor text says, “Let this mind be in you which was in Christ.” The question becomes what mind was in Jesus Christ? Jesus had a mind built on the Word of God. He had a possibility mentality, he didn’t see challenges as the final point instead he saw them as stepping stones and used them to his best ability to fulfill His call.
When you made Jesus Lord of your life, you became a new person. However, don’t expect the new you to take preeminence automatically. You have to make certain decisions to bring your body into total obedience to God’s Word. Spending time with the Word is the key to having the exact mindset as Jesus.
Confession
I am a new creature, I have the mind of Christ, I walk in the fullness of God. I am blessed, I am a friend of the Word, hallelujah! I am a success.

Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”
