PRAYER

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”
Mark 11:24
Main Text: Main Text: Romans 8:26

There are different forms of prayer, ultimately, prayer is communing with the Lord and for these types of prayers there are different rules that apply to each of them. For instance, in sports, we have different rules that govern them, the rule of football is different from that of basketball, you can’t imagine in a soccer game the referee blows a foul for traveling, it doesn’t apply. There are different rules for different forms of prayer.

Prayer is one of the most intimate ways we can connect to God. In prayer we share our feelings, our thoughts, our deepest concerns, and fears, and what we are most grateful for in life. When we spend time in prayer, we hear from God and make space for the Spirit to guide our steps and transform our hearts. Scripture teaches that God is truly just a prayer away, and what a privilege it is for us to be so close to God.

There are various forms of prayers, permit me to name a few, there’s the prayer of thanksgiving, prayer of confession, prayer for healing, prayer for deliverance and help, prayer of intercession, prayer of agreement, and warfare prayers. These forms of prayers have different rules that applies to them and if adhered to can greatly benefit your family.

Prayer:
Oh Lord Jesus, I desire to seek you, I receive the discipline to prevail in the Spirit.
