SET FOR THE MASTER’S USE?

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
2 Timothy 2:21 KJV
Main Text:

The Lord will not use any vessel unto honour except it’s redeemed and fit for use. It will be good for you to understand the scriptures in this context if you will eventually come up in greatness as far as God’s kingdom is concerned. Our Lord Jesus is also coming for a glorious church hence, you must be prepared to remain spotless knowing that He will come like a thief in the night. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:27, that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Refuse to be ordinary in God’s hand. Stay in holiness and righteous living.

What type of vessel are you in the hands of the Lord? Honourable or dishonorable? You cannot just continue to bear the ordinary name of a vessel. You need to constantly examine your life in the mirror of His words to proof your stand before His throne. Of what use is a beautiful pot not in use? The taste of a pudding is in the eating.

Beloved, it is important that you need to constantly examine your life in the mirror of His words to proof your stand. The truth you need to understand is that not all workers, ministers or leaders in any assembly are vessels unto honour. Some have denied the faith by giving heed to seducing spirits and the doctrines of the devil. Beloved, put your house in order and emerge a vessel that God will be proud of. Walk in the spirit so you won’t gratify the lust of the flesh. Be teachable and reachable. Love humility and walk in holiness. May you not be a cast away at the end of the age in Jesus’ mighty name.

Prayer: Father, please keep using me for noble works and make me a vessel unto honour to the glory of your name.
